Wesley A. ’Wes’ Guetzkow

Wesley A. "Wes" Guetzkow, 61, Moorhead, MN, died on Friday, October 30, 2009, in MeritCare Hospital Palliative Care, Fargo, ND.Wesley was born on December 4, 1947, in Fargo, ND, to Wesley and Delia Swapp Guetzkow. He lived with his family in Massachusetts, Chicago and Iowa. Wes was an over the road truck driver, driving for various companies before buying his own truck and becoming an owner-operator in 1985. Wes married Linda Rieber on April 13, 1984 in Fargo and they made their home in Moorhead. Wes loved spending time at the lake. His pride and joy were his trucks and his grandkids.He is survived by his wife, Linda, Moorhead; son Scott Melissa Rieber, Moorhead; daughters, Lori Sean Aubrey, Sutton, AK, Theresa Guetzkow, and Renae Guetzkow, both of Ocala, FL; brother Jim Shirley Guetzkow, Trimont, MN; sisters, Phyllis Jones, Fosston, MN, and Karen Vlam, Pheonix, AZ; six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Charlotte Rambow.
